Dawn Suzanne Johnson, 52, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Thursday March 7, 2019. She was born July 19, 1966 to father Norman Ege and mother Donna Ege.
Dawn was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, and collecting glass jars. She had a special relationship with her parents as well as a one of a kind love for her children and grandchildren. She spent every moment she could with her mother, children, and granddaughters.
Dawn always spoke her mind. She was the life of the party and truly unique. She will remain alive in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
Dawn is survived by her mother Donna Ege; brother Norman Ege III; sister Kim Ege; daughters Tiffany Harrison and Amber Johnson; son Michael Johnson II; granddaughters Alexis Johnson and La’Nya Harrison; and her cat Harriet.
The family of Dawn Suzanne Johnson wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the numerous comforting messages, prayers, and many other expressions of kindness and concern evidenced during this difficult time. May God bless each one of you.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday March 23, 2019 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Southern Dunes Club House (8220 S Tibbs Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana 46217).

I will always remember Dawn. She was truly a good friend and I will always be blessed that she considered me her friend. I loved working with her and missed her every day after she was gone. If you caught me smiling or even laughing I would be thinking of her. Either something she did or said. We would laugh together until our bellies hurt from laughing so much. So sorry about Dawn’s passing,you are all in my prayers. So happy I was able to visit with Dawn at Dee’s party a few weeks back and her little Granddaughter that was herpride and joy.
